Family and Portrait sessions
Family sessions are what I do most often. I once saw a quote along the lines of as a photographer, you are possibly taking the last photo someone has with a given friend or family member. I take that to heart and try to really capture that moment. I try not to worry about the perfect pose, but rather on a perfect moment.
Remember your kids in all of their goofiness, versus stressing over whether their shirt is tucked in. Let them remember your hugs, versus just being thrown together for that pose that is just right. Let them ride on their other parent’s shoulders. Laugh together. Let the the teens roll their eyes and give that playful smirk. Enjoy each other and let these moments last long after their have left the house and started their own relationships and families. Let them remember those moments with their parents long after you are gone from their eyes.
The winter and spring holidays are when I most often do specials but others might pop up throughout the year. Groups of 7 or more people must book a full session as posing larger groups takes more work.
I do also offer school photos in Spring and Fall for those who are homeschooled or have missed picture day in the public schools.
Also ask about individual portrait sessions. They are the same price.
